In January-March 2021, Russians have already made more than 2.6 million trips abroad, including tourist, business and private flights. The figure is not as impressive as it might seem at first glance if you compare it with the data for the same period in 2020 and 2019. The total outbound flow over the past year decreased by 64.8%, and compared to the first quarter of 2019 - by 68.2%. Taking into account all the purposes of the visit, the TOP-10 foreign destinations among Russians in the first months of 2021 looks like this: Abkhazia, Turkey, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, , Finland, Tanzania, South Ossetia, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. From the end of May, in addition to opening borders with five countries, the number of regular flights to South Korea, Finland and Japan will also increase from Russia, so the geographical picture of tourist traffic for the second quarter of 2021 promises to be completely different.
